Turn every screen unlock into a Korean lesson. Lockademy displays a Korean word every time you unlock your phone — read, remember, swipe. No apps to open, no time to spend: the moments you spend unlocking your phone become dozens of micro-lessons every day.

The exclusive purpose of this app is to learn Korean on your lock screen. Everything else — the word browser, statistics, quizzes and settings — exists only to configure and monitor the learning experience on the lock screen.

CAN’T READ HANGUL YET? START FROM ZERO
Can’t read Korean yet? The built-in 한글 course teaches the alphabet: each vowel and consonant has a mnemonic, syllable formation step by step (ㅎ + ㅏ + ㄴ = 한), batchim, and real pronunciation rules — 한국어 is pronounced “hamnida”, and the card shows you why. Select “I don’t know how to read Hangul” when you first open the app and you’ll start there.

SMART REVIEW THAT NEVER FORGET
Leitner spaced repetition brings back each word before you’ve forgotten it: 1 hour → 1 day → 3 days → 7 days → 30 days. Words you know recede; those you got wrong come back sooner. Your streak and progress stats keep you motivated.

QUIZ MODE
Flip the card to Quiz and choose the correct meaning from four options. Instant feedback, hints, and a quiz-accuracy stat that you must beat. In the 한글 course, the quiz trains letters instead: build syllables from their parts and match each letter to its sound.

20,000 TOPIK WORDS
Curated vocabulary from the National Institute of Korean Language's learner word list and public TOPIK guides, covering every level from beginner to proficient (TOPIK 1–6). Each word includes romanization, part of speech, natural example sentences, and synonyms/antonyms. Browse the entire word list, search, and favorite words for review.
