I don't know and I don't care. I should be able to choose my own source for news. I don't trust the news sources that are pre installed on these phones. That and the fact that they tend to discuss national news and on this phone there are two different sources already. I have chosen to disable updates for the both of them.

well I noticed one day that on my lock screen was a bunch of news headlines and I didn't actiate this app to be able to do that! Mainly because this phone is free government phone so the quality is very very poor so any added power needed or anything really robs the already very slow performance.. beggars can't be choosers I guess, right?? So I uninstalled the updates and disabled this app. sorry

Twice a day I have to go back into the application settings on my phone to disable this app and uninstall updates because somehow it has the ability to modify the settings I have placed on my phone and reinstate itself. It can't be completely uninstalled. I cannot overstate how frustrating and invasive this feels. This app is nothing but pure malware and probably spyware. Stay away!
