Total bloatware. Pre-installed on my phone without consent. It opens as a full screen pop-up EACH TIME YOU UNLOCK YOUR DEVICE. It doesn't have permissions any other app would need to display over other apps, act as a default app or disregard Android's native intrusive ad blocker. You can't fully remove it from your device - best thing to do is go to "Applications" in settings, go to the app, force stop, uninstall updates (3 dots top right), disable the app, clear storage & restrict data usage.

I never have a good experience with something is forced on me. this app came with my phone and I can't delete it and apparently it uses a lot of battery of which I had no choice either. I don't think Google should have the right to force apps on us that we don't want by putting them on the phones before we buy them. I know the Play store no longer post which programs are free and which ones are paid can we ride up with the paid programs rather than the free ones and they got us both ways.

always spazzing out with ads and eating up data while not in use. Without background, or any permissions at all I find myself accidentally on news. app only when it pops up while unlocking. Very common for it to start playing a random video at any time. ex. while charging or in your pocket it won't shut off until you unlock the screen. it's selective hearing caters advertisements. Interested in a news story it will bombard you with ads and make the screen go blank. 2stars & disabling
