always spazzing out with ads and eating up data while not in use. Without background, or any permissions at all I find myself accidentally on news. app only when it pops up while unlocking. Very common for it to start playing a random video at any time. ex. while charging or in your pocket it won't shut off until you unlock the screen. it's selective hearing caters advertisements. Interested in a news story it will bombard you with ads and make the screen go blank. 2stars & disabling

I think the articles are sometimes informative and interesting

terrible "news" app. just those basic ad type news headlines that are always just ads that open up an entirely new webpage that is not ever one you've heard of before. I can't believe I can't fully delete this app and it comes pre installed. would give 0 stars if I could.
