HVI Ai is a next-generation fleet management mobile application built using the Flutter framework, designed for trucking companies, logistics providers, and commercial fleet operators. It serves as an all-in-one digital ecosystem for managing vehicle operations, ensuring DOT compliance, tracking driver activities, and maintaining overall fleet health. With native support for both iOS and Android, HVI Ai empowers administrators, fleet managers, and drivers with real-time tools to streamline operations, reduce paperwork, and improve safety and efficiency.
1. Authentication & User Management
HVI Ai offers a secure authentication system powered by Firebase. Users can log in via email/password or Google Sign-In. Organizations can onboard teams, assign role-based permissions, and maintain a hierarchical structure for controlled access. Advanced session management ensures secure token handling, auto-refresh, and protection against unauthorized access.
2. Dashboard Module
The platform features role-based dashboards designed to deliver critical insights instantly.
Admin Dashboard:
Provides an overview of fleet performance, including total vehicles, active drivers, maintenance alerts, compliance risks, and utilization metrics.
Driver Dashboard:
Displays assigned loads, remaining Hours of Service (HOS), upcoming inspections, and performance indicators.
The interface uses intuitive layouts, gradient components, and color-coded indicators to support faster and better decision-making.
3. Hours of Service (HOS) Module
HVI Ai’s HOS module is fully aligned with FMCSA regulations and ELD requirements. It includes a smart duty-status timer that tracks Driving, On-Duty, Off-Duty, and Sleeper Berth statuses. The system automatically calculates available hours based on the 11-hour driving limit, 14-hour shift rule, and 70-hour cycle.
Drivers can switch duty status with a single tap, while all changes are logged with timestamps, geolocation, and notes. During roadside inspections, logs can be instantly displayed or shared, ensuring compliance and audit readiness.
4. DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report) Module
The DVIR module digitizes pre-trip and post-trip inspections with customizable checklists covering critical components such as brakes, tires, lights, steering, engine fluids, mirrors, suspension, coupling devices, and emergency equipment.
Drivers can mark items as pass/fail, add defect notes, and capture photos. Each inspection is automatically geotagged and timestamped, then securely stored and linked to vehicle history. Maintenance teams receive real-time alerts for defects, enabling faster repairs and ensuring DOT compliance. Supervisors can approve repairs and maintain a complete audit trail.
5. Dispatch & Load Management Module
HVI Ai’s dispatch system streamlines operations from load assignment to delivery. Managers can create loads with detailed information, including pickup and drop locations, cargo type, weight, documentation, and delivery timelines.
The system integrates with Google Maps for route optimization, distance calculation, and real-time navigation. Drivers receive instant notifications and access full load details, including contacts and instructions. Dispatchers can track shipment progress, monitor delays, and view estimated arrival times.
Completed loads are archived with proof of delivery, confirmations, and incident reports, creating a centralized and data-rich repository for analytics and performance tracking.
