AnkiDroid lets you learn flashcards very efficiently by showing them just before you would forget. It is fully compatible with the spaced repetition software Anki (including synchronization), which is available for Windows/Mac/Linux/ChromeOS/iOS.

Study all sorts of things wherever and whenever you want. Make good use of idle times on bus trips, in supermarket queues or any other waiting situation!

Create your own flashcard decks or download free decks compiled for many languages and topics (thousands available).

Add material through the desktop application Anki or directly through Ankidroid. The application even supports adding material automatically from a dictionary!

Hey this is probably a "me thing" but when I make cards I sometimes clip screenshots from shows and save them as either jpg or PNG to my computer and then when I add them to card they show up in the editor but display as a broken html tags. On the off chance someone has the fix could you tell me what I'm doing wrong? Nothing wrong with the app, I love it. Thanks devs!

This app is very powerful. Problem is, all its features -- basic and advanced -- are made equally prominent in the menus and options. So it's difficult to find and use the BASIC features that 90% of people want. Yes, there's the manual -- but people just don't have the time to dig through it. It would be great if this app "tiered" its features so that all the basics were easily available and more advanced ones were more tucked away.

Amazing app. It works and syncs flawlessly. It has dark mode. And it's free and open source. I love this app bc I can review and edit my cards from my phone. For example, if I'm studying vocab, and a mnemonic suddenly strikes me, I can edit my card right then and there, I don't have to wait to go to my computer when I'll most likely have forgotten my inspiration. This app makes studying both a breeze and a pleasure.
