About this app

Intento is a minimalist Android launcher designed to help you choose what to do before opening an app.

The home screen replaces grids, badges, and distractions with an essential text-only app list. Keep only what matters in view and reach everything else with a gesture.

• Choose and reorder the apps on your Home screen
• Organize apps into folders and hide what you do not want to see
• Customize fonts, size, alignment, colors, and background
• Assign quick actions and apps to swipe gestures

USE THE RIGHT APPS IN THE RIGHT CONTEXT

Presets let you create different app groups for work, downtime, or focus. Activate them manually, on a schedule, or when a chosen Bluetooth device or Wi-Fi network connects.

Mindful-use tools are optional and off by default. You can:

• Write an intention before opening selected apps
• Add a short countdown before an app opens
• Pause before revealing the app drawer
• Set daily app timers
• View screen time and daily unlock counts
• Review an on-device app launch journal

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Intento has no ads, accounts, or analytics. Settings and optional feature data stay on your device. If you choose, you can create a configuration backup in a location you select through Android's system file picker.

Every non-essential feature is opt-in. You decide which permissions to grant and which tools to enable.
