Ratings and reviews

App wouldn't let me deposit a check for months, just said application error. Little did I know that there was a new version that we weren't being notified of nor does it update automatically. Only by reading the reviews did I know that the fix for this was to uninstall and install it again. This could be handled a lot better. The app spins a lot too.

Unfortunately, this new app gets a 1 star. There used to be detailed info on what I just paid for(principal/interest) now just the balance, and since I still can't link an external account I've had to call in to make a manual payment, which didn't change the due date. I made 2 extra payments so im 2 months ahead. I brought up the issue, and it was corrected so credit to that team, but whoever they hired to make this app did a terrible job, it's 4 months on and no fixes.

Requires a complete uninstall and reinstall to get the latest version, which is explained nowhere. As for the new interface, it's awful. Apparently waiting longer for things to load and needing to click through more menus to do the same tasks is considered an "improvement" in the eyes of Tower. A "slick" design (debatable, I don't like it) should not come at the cost of usability, which it almost always does. I'm now unable to see what my mobile check deposit images look like before submitting.
