Tower members must sign up for free online banking at towerfcu.org or login to the App.

Ratings and reviews

Requires a complete uninstall and reinstall to get the latest version, which is explained nowhere. As for the new interface, it's awful. Apparently waiting longer for things to load and needing to click through more menus to do the same tasks is considered an "improvement" in the eyes of Tower. A "slick" design (debatable, I don't like it) should not come at the cost of usability, which it almost always does. I'm now unable to see what my mobile check deposit images look like before submitting.

To get the new version on Android you have to uninstall and reinstall the same app(lame). New version is not worth the trouble. Tried to log in and it didn't recognize my credentials even though I just used it before the change and have it saved to verify accuracy. In the multiple attempts to get it to work, my account is now lock on the web. When attempting to unlock it, it says they don't have the correct information (bday, SSN, ZIP). ridiculously inconvenient.

Overall the app is clean and easy to use. On my OnePlus 6T I cannot deposit checks. Once you get to the part where you need to take a picture of the front of the check, tapping the screen does nothing. Also there is no button icon to take a picture. Again, the app is great but this is my only gripe. Update 12/8/18: Reached out to Tower about the mobile deposit issue. They responded quickly and let me know they were addressing the issue for Android phones. They let me know this was resolved by their development team and as of this update I have successfully used this feature. Thanks Tower!
