About this app

The Self-Assessment for Fempowerment (SAFE) app is a mobile health and healing app empowering women to learn about all the elements needed for a healthy body and mind. The SAFE app helps users learn and improve the 8 elements of women's health and wellbeing: Physical, Social, Emotional, Spiritual, Financial, Sexual, Learning, and Environmental. The app educates and navigates users to evidence-based resources that are human-curated by Dr. Emily Salisbury, an expert in women's psychological and social needs, especially among women who have experienced sexual and domestic violence. The app is integrated with a case management system to enable users, if they so choose, to collaboratively discuss individualized treatment plans with care providers such as physicians, nurses, and counselors.

SAFE offers a menu of free, online interventions tailored to improve wellbeing--such as meditations, financial resources, physical stretching and exercises, ways to have healthy intimate relationships, empowering sexual safety and pleasure, menopause resources, finding your identity, poetry, safety planning, and many others. Users can track their progress over time within each of the eight elements, promoting self improvement and healing.

Disclaimer: This app does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any medical or mental health condition. Any assessments or content provided through the app are tools for personal insight and growth—not clinical evaluation or care. If you are experiencing a medical emergency or mental health crisis, please contact a licensed healthcare provider or emergency services immediately. We strongly recommend that users consult with qualified medical or mental health professionals for advice specific to their individual needs.
