MAUSAM is a Mobile App of the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES), Government of India to provide seamless and user-friendly access to weather products available on https://mausam.imd.gov.in/. Users can access observed weather, forecasts, radar images and be proactively warned of impending weather events.

Ratings and reviews

The is a good reliable source for weather informations. The app has an option for selecting "Favourite Location". There is no any option to select or choose it. Notifications about the weather must be displayed which is very important but it is not showing after selecting the relevant options. Please look into the matter and sort them out.

⭐ 4/5- The app provides accurate temperature and radar data, which is very reliable. However, the map is often glitchy and needs better optimization for smoother performance on Android devices. The UI also needs improvement, especially the profile section—showing the profile picture directly in the menu bar would enhance usability. Overall, a useful app that needs stability and design improvements.

Needs massive improvements in UI. UI is very simple and gives only top level info. It lacks details like hourly weather trends, interactive maps lack map legend to help interpret/read it. It gives minimal information when a location is searched manually. UV information is missing, moon phase, etc.
