About this app

MAUSAM is a Mobile App of the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES), Government of India to provide seamless and user-friendly access to weather products available on https://mausam.imd.gov.in/. Users can access observed weather, forecasts, radar images and be proactively warned of impending weather events.

Ratings and reviews

Does not seem to be maintained. When there is amber alert for Mumbai, the app shows no rain predicted for next 10 days. Agriculture data is completely wrong and weather data for (for agriculture) is from feb 2024, while it is July currently. Even the radar data is difficult to use since the images cannot be zoomed into easily. Overall this app is just for the department to claim they have an app. Not useful for anybody.

Please correct the Rainfall warning option as soon as possible. This option is completely not working. And the daily rain forecast option is also not proper. In my area there occurring very heavy Rainfall but this app shows only traces. So please correct the Rainfall warning and daily Rainfall forecast option🙏

Love the app. Thanks for fixing the VIS satellite view issue. Another issue. The radar images are displaying correctly when we see all images but old image is displayed when you open an individual radar image to zoom in. Edit: This issue is there for Mumbai city radar and not in all cities.
