Ratings and reviews

PROS: It does exactly what I need it to do, tell the weather and temperature. I also like the unique way they put background pictures that match the weather condition. CONS: All of a sudden, there are pop-up ads that weren't there before. I used to think it was ad free. Why wouldn't it be when Yahoo has other ways to make money. But it could be worse. CONCLUSION: This app is fine if you just want a quick look at the current weather and don't mind unnecessary ads.

I love how the app presents the information. Only 4 stars because the widget does not automatically update, so the temp shown is usually incorrect.

It doesn't update automatically, and most of the time you need to refresh to get the weather -and real time location- all of this in spite of having turned on all battery and app launch switches. If it wasn't for that, I'd give it higher rating. Also slightly disappointed that the widgets do not include a 5 day forecast for a given town, How come?!!!
