Highly recommend this as a supplement for your Mandarin studies. The ability to turn off pinyin and English translation is the best way to improve your reading. The lessons are perfectly sized and the tips and explanations are very good. Not too much, not too little. Use this every day and you will soon find your reading ability improving faster than you thought possible.

The best chinese app out there. I have been studying chinese for 16 weeks and have done the free trial on every possible app I can download that is worth the effort, and over half of what I can recall is because of this app. It introduces new charters through words at a comfortable but productive pace. Reading chinese characters that you recognize truly is a supercharged way to get the language to stick. I definitely plan on purchasing the lifetime subscription when I complete the free lessons.

Decent app. I'll probably be paying for more content. It's a great way to learn a language by having it repeatedly in your ear. One tiny annoying thing: when the app starts, there's some kind of async process that runs in the background, and when it's done it resets the app to the beginning screen, interrupting whatever you've been doing.
