The app constantly loses connection to both of my fountains. Sometimes, the name and location settings don't save. Other times, the entire bowl disappears from my list of devices. I've deleted and resinstalled the app 4 times on 2 different phones. There is absolutely zero consistency with this app. The only reason why I went with the Instachew bowls was for notifications and low water alerts... which don't work because the bowls never stay connected.

App is mostly an advertisement to try and sell cloud storage. Making it tedious and much less functional then it should be. Home page is 90% dedicated to selling storage while accessing your camera is a super tiny little button. Think you can click the big play button on the camera feed to check in on your animal? Nope, that's a direct link to your storage pricing options. Beyond that the playback is a little confusing and doesn't indicate when each movement event is, and unclear when recording

this app is actually the worst. I got the product that the app controls as a gift and I can't even recommend it to anyone else. the app only works with 2.4g, not 5g internet, so good luck when providers stop offering 2.4g or if yours doesn't already. devices are immediately forgotten by the app as soon as they are configured. pushes subscriptions and add ons when basic features with the base free app don't work. dont waste your money. I'd say more if I wasn't capped to 500 characters.
