About this app

The MyMazda App makes your Mazda ownership experience simpler and more convenient than ever. The app allows you to do:
- Register your Mazda vehicle(s) to make online service appointments
- Locate dealers nearby
- Download owner’s manuals and guides
- Access and enter service history information
- Request Mazda Roadside Assistance
- Stay up to date with recalls

In addition, if your vehicle is Mazda Connected Services capable, you can activate it through the MyMazda App, which will take your Mazda experience to the next level. Here are a few of the things you’ll be able to do with Mazda Connected Services (all available through the complimentary trial period).
- Remote Engine Start / Stop
- Remote Door Lock / Unlock
- Monitor vehicle health
- Receive vehicle status alerts
- Easily find your car remotely
- Search public charging stations, check charging process, and facilitate ChargePoint payment if applicable (BEV/PHEV)

Ratings and reviews

App is ok, but has bare minimum features. Start and lock. That's it. Has an option for scheduling a service, but when I try to use it, an error pops up saying "unavailable" which is frustrating, 1 of 3 options doesn't even work. I've used car apps that allow me to control the HVAC, track the car, etc. Not this one, start, stop, unlock. Would be awesome if I could turn the AC or heat up when starting.

Ok app. UX complaint: If it is really sunny, the app can be damn near impossible to read. White font on a black background. There is a contrast issue when bright. Like the idea of being able to open my car. Frequently get false notifications about my doors being open.. Just me opening door and getting out is enough to trigger. When in a few minutes I really closed and locked the car.

Glitchy and redundant. Still notifications about unlocked or open doors and they aren't. I'd like service appointment reminders but dont want to put up with nuisance notifications. Constantly signs out and doesn't remember biometrics forcing password signon. My last Mazda didn't have Mazda Connect, so I wasn't losing out having this app off. Now I feel like I'm losing out with my new Mazda if I turn this off. Mazda gets a big F for this lackluster app. Looks great but function is lame.
