Go figure!!!, winding down on 3 years of mandatory installation and am now still having problems. I elected to change from the Smart Start unit do to poor customer service, unit malfunctions and vehicle issues caused by that company's product ie. (Battery/starter replacement). I elected to go with Intoxalock as they had a post on Facebook stating that the installation was free of charge. 2 years later, I have yet to be reimbursed for the charge of the installation. I have yet to be reimbursed

Gotten worse from my last review. Still says samples are invalid for no reason but the machine is worse after every calibration. Now after you pass giving a sample & start your car the counter stays on for about a minute before it resets & goes away & it says wait for sync which usually requires disconnecting the negative battery for 10 seconds & reconnecting for it to start working again. I was told if you do that it can violate you. How? They told me to do it! Machine is garbage & needs work!!

Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT use Intoxalock. Numerous hidden fees that you get hit with after it is installed. They are addressed in the lease, that you receive AFTER it is installed, so you don't read it before. Recalibration service every two months and can't be completed without signed lease. Can sign lease in app, but app is ****. Customer service based in Asia, somewhere. Requires retest every 6-8 minutes, not sure if that is par for such devices. Device works, only upside.
