I'm not sure if I blame the app or the vacuum. The s9+ gets stuck constantly, even when there's nothing to be stuck on. You would think that the map would figure out areas it gets stuck in frequently give you the option to block that zone, but no. If it experiences an error, it cancels the job after you fix the issue. It's literally more work to babysit than to just vacuum the old fashion way. It's been getting even worse lately. Irritating for a $900 purchase.

Slightly clunky UX, but works well enough. Update from 4 to 1 and back to 4 stars: Service outage was not properly conveyed, so the app reported I was either not connected to the internet or my time was set incorrectly. Triple checking those didn't resolve it, so I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, at which point I identified the problem was iRobot's side and not what the error message conveyed (my phone as the issue). Recommend developers implement additional checks for such a scenario.

The connection issues every other update is frustrating. Now I can only connect to my devices when not connected to WiFi. Update:2024-03-18 The response was support does not work and is an insult to my intelligence. The app works fine on an iPhone with NO issues, but guess what I don't use an iPhone as a daily driver. Update: 2024-04-28 The connection issue seems to have been corrected. I am not confident the devs will maintain the quality of their software.
