The levels of verification on this app seems a bit intrusive. The need for local ID card and drivers license or passport says a lot. The photo first saved should not have to very re-entered at different points like that. The note says bank transactions take 2-5 days. Seems a bit long for me in the electronic age as well.

We apologise for the difficulties you experienced while registering with us. As a regulated/licensed business, we are required to apply AML/KYC procedures to our clients in order to upgrade them to a full due diligence account with higher limits and access to our bank transfer and card products.

Recently came to my country. Positives . Very easy to add money to your wallet. Negatives. No list of businesses that actually accepted island pay. If any do. Also they haven't added companies that can be paid through the app yet in their billers section, such as electricity water, insurance etc. Decent attempt, but without some minimum adoption by merchants, the wallet function will be pointless, and will end up like the other mobile payments app, mmoney. Dead and forgotten.

I've had an awesome experience with island pay thus far. I have received my payments on time, and the kiosk machines are easy use. The prepaid MasterCard is nice. It has been such a convenience. I have used it several stores and didn't have any issues. The customer service is superb! They couldn't reach me via my cell and they emailed me. Awesomeness! The daily limits can be readjusted, as well as the total amount of funds that can be deposited, then y'all would get ten stars in my book. 🏆
