Bluetooth connection with card reader always takes an embarrassing amount of time if you haven't taken a payment within the last few minutes. Often have to switch the card reader off and on again to make it work (much like you would have done 20 years ago). Now the last update appears to have gotten rid of dark mode which, when you work in a taxi at night, is pretty annoying. May consider switching to another provider soon.

Have been using this app and reader for 5 years successfully, in our 6th year now, we have 6 market stalls with new readers and all have Bluetooth connectivity issues, sometimes it can take up to a minute to connect, no good considering you have a line of customers waiting, rang customer services, after a long wait I was told to update the app, but nothing has changed, I can see from other reviews lots of people are having the same problems, we are seriously looking into alternatives.

You need to sort out the Bluetooth connection issues. My PayPal reader is solid, reliable and always connects pretty much instantly. Both of my iZettle card reader 2's behave exactly the same. I and everyone else wants to turn the reader and open the app and it too connect and work straight away, not have the reader say "welcome!" all the time whilst it decides if it feels like connecting. Until this is sorted, I can't recommend an iZettle reader to anyone.
