Martina’s Homemade Foods, was established in Killala, Co. Mayo in 1992. We have been providing hand-made and healthy lunches/breakfast options to children in the North West of Ireland since 2005. We expanded our services for schools to include nutritious Hot Meals, since the establishment of the Hot School Meals Programme by the Department of Social Protection in 2019. While offering an excellent service to schools, we pride ourselves in providing local employment to deliver this high-quality service.

All of our ingredients are sourced locally and are of the highest standard. Every morning all meals are prepared fresh and are delivered directly to schools within 2 hours of being made. Using our App, families can choose from a wide range of healthy and balanced meals. All meals are individually labeled for each child and hot meals are delivered to classrooms in insulated boxes. All food is prepared in a purpose-built unit, meeting all HSE health and safety requirements.
