I have the latest version on both Android and PC and both are on the same Wi-Fi network. It will not connect unless I use a USB wire, which defeats the intended purpose. I thought maybe it was related to using a VPN and phone link; it is not. Disabling them had 0 effect. You can't adjust brightness & contrast either, and the picture is a bit bright/washed out.

I used it to convert my old Samsung S7 into a PC webcam. The video quality is great. However, after trying it for a day, it keep disconnecting every 5 minutes and automatically reconnecting. I cannot use it if it for any video conferencing and casting if it keeps dropping connection. I thought if I purchased it the problem will go away but it didn't so I got a refund. Also, the Microsoft Camera app does not recognize it as a camera. It only recognize the iVCam app. As far as video quality Iriun is compatible to iVCam and is cheaper. If it doesn't keep dropping out on me I would have chosen Iriun.
