Lasernote is a field tool for measured building surveys using a Bluetooth laser distance meter.

Sketch the building as you work and transfer measurements directly from your laser into the survey. Instead of juggling a paper sketchbook, pencil and laser meter, you can collect geometry and measurements together in one digital field sketch.

BUILT FOR MEASURED BUILDING SURVEYS

Lasernote is designed for surveying existing buildings — including irregular walls, complex layouts and geometry that does not fit neatly into rectangular rooms.
It is suitable for architects, building surveyors, architectural technicians and other professionals who need to document existing buildings accurately and efficiently on site.

MEASURE DIRECTLY INTO YOUR SURVEY

Connect a compatible Bluetooth laser distance meter and transfer measurements directly into Lasernote. This reduces manual transcription and keeps dimensions together with the geometry they describe.
You can also enter measurements manually whenever required.

SKETCH WHILE YOU MEASURE

Create the survey progressively as you move through the building. Draw walls and other geometry, add dimensions and annotations, document openings and collect the information you will need later in the office.
Lasernote is built around the field-survey workflow rather than interior design or automatic room scanning.

WORK WITH REAL BUILDING GEOMETRY

Existing buildings are rarely perfect rectangles. Lasernote lets you work with individual lines, points and measurement relationships, making it suitable for irregular rooms, historic buildings, renovations and other complex measured surveys.

ADD MEASUREMENTS TO PHOTOS

Take photographs on site and add dimensions directly to them. Keep visual information and measurements together as part of your survey documentation.

REFINE YOUR SURVEY

BLUETOOTH LASER DISTANCE METERS

Lasernote works with compatible Bluetooth laser distance meters from a range of manufacturers, including selected Bosch, Leica DISTO, Hilti, Stabila, Nivel System, Stanley and Laserliner models.
Compatibility depends on the specific model. Check the supported-device information before choosing a laser meter for use with Lasernote.

DESIGNED FOR WORK ON SITE

Lasernote works offline and does not require an account to create and work with your surveys. Your projects remain available on your device when you are working in buildings with poor or no internet access.
From a simple room to an irregular existing building, Lasernote helps you leave the site with a structured measured sketch ready for the next stage of your work.
