About this app
The news is wild. Your news app shouldn't be beige.
Jester gives you short news with a sharp take: every story summarized in a few lines, plus THE TAKE, one line that says what everyone in the group chat is already thinking. You get the jest of it before the other app finishes loading its pop-up.
NEWS IN SHORT, WITH A PUNCHLINE
No 900-word windup before the point. Each story is a quick news summary you can read in under a minute, plus a take that calls it like it is. The serious, the absurd and the "wait, this actually happened?", all in one scroll.
ORIGINAL ART AND REAL VIDEO
Many stories get an original illustrated cartoon made for that story, that day. Others carry the publisher's own photo or the video clip itself. No grey thumbnails, no recycled stock.
FOUR WAYS IN
🔥 FEED: breaking news, trending stories, funny news and good news, as it happens.
▶️ WATCH: full-screen viral videos, Shorts and news clips, one swipe at a time.
🧠DISCOVER: top stories, editor's picks, "on this day" and deeper reads.
🎮 CORNER: a fresh daily crossword, sudoku, word search, Who Am I? and a picture quiz, built from the day's headlines.
BUILT GLOBAL
Jester covers the UK, US, Canada, Australia and beyond. Sources include BBC, The Guardian, ESPN, CBC, CTV News, NFL, NHL, MLB, E! News, Bleacher Report, Manchester Evening News, Wales Online and dozens more — curated so you get the stories that actually matter.
REACT, DON'T JUST SCROLL
React to any story and see how the rest of the world felt about it. It's news
with a pulse, not a lecture.
DESIGNED TO BE FAST
Swipe able cards, instant loads, and a feed that respects your time. Catch up
in two minutes or fall in for an hour.
