FolioCircle is a pocket-sized meeting journal designed specifically for book clubs who want a warm and effortless way to record every gathering.
The entire experience is styled like a traveler’s notebook, with a rich dark leather cover framing cream pages where your entries sit on lined paper.
Your meeting details are kept securely on your device, so you can look back through past discussions anytime without needing an internet connection.
Four elastic-band tabs run along the bottom edge, giving you instant access to the Dashboard, Log, New Meeting form, and a dedicated Notes feed.
The Dashboard greets you with two embossed leather page-marker flaps that show your total gatherings and the number of distinct books your circle has discussed.
A small summary card also displays the date, book title, and host of your most recent meeting at a glance.
Switching to the Log tab reveals a scrollable list of every meeting entry, each clearly labeled with its date, the book discussed, and the name of the host.
A built-in search bar lets you quickly filter the log by book title or host name, and you can swipe any entry to remove it after a simple confirmation step.
When you open the New Meeting tab, you will find a clean form with a date picker, a required field for the book title, an optional host name field, and a spacious text area for discussion notes.
Both the meeting date and book title must be filled before saving, and the same form also handles editing when you need to update a past entry.
The Notes tab collects the discussion snippets you have saved across all meetings and presents them as dated journal headers, making it easy to revisit memorable observations.
Every host name automatically receives its own soft pastel color, which appears as a tiny tab on the top-right corner of each log entry so you can identify hosts at a glance.
Completed meeting cards carry a faint brown coffee-stain ring in the bottom corner, a subtle visual cue that keeps the notebook aesthetic consistent without using generic checkmarks.
Because all records live locally, small reading circles can comfortably share a single device as their group log without managing accounts or cloud setups.
FolioCircle turns the simple act of note-taking into a delightful ritual, helping informal groups that rotate hosts stay organized while preserving the cozy, personal feel of a handwritten journal.
