About this app

※ Jikju is not an official app of any government or public institution. It is a private app that presents data published on the Korean Public Data Portal and elsewhere, and it is not affiliated with or representing the National Pension Service or the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.

Pick the district where you work, and Jikju shows where people who work there actually live (National Pension Service member statistics), then finds housing complexes in those neighbourhoods that fit your budget (Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport transaction prices). Seoul capital area (Seoul, Gyeonggi, Incheon). The app is in Korean.

• Workplace-based housing: top 10 neighbourhoods where people working in the chosen district live, by age band and sex; filter apartments, villas and officetels by purchase or jeonse budget.
• Straight-line distance to the nearest subway station, bus stop and your workplace for each complex.
• Compare up to 3 neighbourhoods side by side.
• Workplace density by district and legal dong; residences far from stations.
• Commute flow map.

• No price forecasts — only reported transactions and indicators calculated from them.
• Missing values are shown as "—", never 0.
• No sign-up; no name, contact or location requested. Anonymous usage statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase) help improve the app.
