Ratings and reviews

After Google disabled programmatic control of wifi hotspot (ugh), workarounds were very poor. This is the only option that has worked flawlessly since then, and trust me I've looked! I want my hotspot to enable as soon as my phone connects to my cars head unit via Bluetooth. I don't always need it so don't always remember to enable before hitting the road, but when I want navi and music streaming, I'd have to do multiple manual steps while driving (thanks Google...)

This app works as described on my Galaxy S25UW. The setup was a bit involved; but doable. There's a video to assist but is difficult to understand due to English not being the native tongue of the presenter. Take your time and follow along.

The amount of people giving negative reviews after updating to Android 16🙄🙄 the app literally warns you not to update. This is not because they're too lazy support android 16, it's because android itself has restricted programatic hotspot triggering on android 16 for 'security', so there's no longer a simple way to make this work without rooting your device. There's nothing that the developer of this app can do, blame the android team.
