App Zona

About this app

Find out what's happening near you before anyone else: thefts, break-ins, incidents and alerts reported by your neighbors, in real time. ZONA is a neighborhood safety app and a community where neighbors warn each other about what's going on around them. Your city's safety, in everyone's hands.

ZONA is not an official channel and does not replace the police. In an emergency, always call your country's emergency number.

LIVE SAFETY MAP
See incidents near you on a map, geolocated and instantly: thefts, break-ins, suspicious people, accidents, road closures and more. Switch between street and satellite view, and filter by incident type and date.

REAL-TIME ALERTS
Get a notification when something happens in your area, within the radius you choose. You decide what you want to hear about and what you don't, so you stay informed without the noise.

REPORT IN 2 TAPS
Warn your community quickly and anonymously. No name and no personal details needed: your report is anonymous to other neighbors. Others can confirm or dismiss each alert, so the information cleans itself up.

FIND YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS
Create a private circle with your family or friends and see on the map where everyone is in real time, so you know they got there safely. Each person decides when they share their location, how precisely, and on what schedule. There are also temporary circles for a trip, a party or an event.

PLACE ALERTS
Save home, school, college or work and get an automatic alert when someone in your circle arrives or leaves. Perfect for knowing your kids made it to school, or that someone got home safely at night.

"I'M OK" CHECK-IN
One tap to tell your whole circle you're fine, with a history of check-ins so nobody is left wondering.

PRIVATE CHAT PER CIRCLE
Talk to your family or friends inside the app, with photos, videos, and delivery and read receipts.

SOS BUTTON AND PERSONAL ALARM
In an emergency, the SOS button detects the country you're in and calls its real emergency number. You can also set off a loud alarm and the flashlight, share your location with your contacts over SMS and WhatsApp, record what's happening as evidence, or fake an incoming call to get out of an uncomfortable situation.

DRIVING MODE
Automatic trip detection, with nothing to turn on when you get in the car. Weekly circle report and per-person detail: speed, hard braking, hard acceleration and phone use while driving, with the actual route taken.

POLICE STATIONS AND HOSPITALS NEARBY
Instantly find the nearest police station, hospital or health center, and check the risk level of each area using official crime data.

AVAILABLE IN 12 LANGUAGES
Latin American Spanish, Spanish, Catalan, English, French, Italian, German, Portuguese, Dutch, Russian, Japanese and Chinese. The app starts in your phone's language.

A COMMUNITY THAT LOOKS OUT FOR YOU
On ZONA, the alerts come from neighbors. Report what you see and help keep your area safer for everyone.

INFORMATION, NOT FEAR
We show information honestly, without treating anything as confirmed and without pointing fingers. Our goal is for you to be informed, not frightened.
