While dining at hawker centres, food courts, restaurants or any other eateries, you can use this app to record the orders of your fellow diners whom you are buying drinks for. Waiters or coffee shop assistants may also use this app to take down drink orders. Food items from the menu may even be added to the list, to form a complete menu order taking app.
In South-East Asian countries such as Singapore and Malaysia, it is customary for a representative to take drink orders on behalf of friends or colleagues dining together at food establishments such as hawker centres, coffee shops, canteens and food courts. This is a peculiar practice at these food establishments as there are usually no waiters available to take orders on the group's behalf. The 'honour' will therefore be bestowed upon a selected individual to take the drink orders on behalf of the group, and this representative will place the group's consolidated drink orders at a drink stall which may be some distance away. It is usually a challenge for the representative to remember all the orders, and even more so when taking a large number of orders from a sizeable group.
The 'Record Drink Orders' app is here to help ease the pain of remembering these consolidated drink orders, by providing an easy means of recording the drink orders by the simple tapping of buttons at the respective rows of the different drinks to be ordered. The list of drinks may be customised and managed, by adding new items, deleting and shifting the drinks in the list. A search function is available for easy filtering of the drinks when taking down orders. The drinks that are ordered can subsequently be displayed in a single view.
The app may also be used by waiters or coffee shop assistants to record orders from their customers, as it allows for the customisation of the drink list on the app according to the restaurant's own menus. Food items may be added to the list to take orders for those too.
This app is effectively a means to record counts of items of any types, in a list that can be edited and customised to fit your own needs.
