ParkRelay is a New York City pilot that helps drivers coordinate real-time street parking handoffs.

How it works
• Leaver: Tap “Leaving” when you’re about to pull out of a spot.
• Hunter: Nearby drivers tap “Hunting”. The system selects one winner to avoid chaos.
• Relay: Only the winner gets the exact location and guidance to arrive in time.

Pilot rules
• NYC-only: Core actions are geo-gated to the NYC pilot boundary.
• No payments, no selling, no reserving. ParkRelay does not guarantee a parking spot.
• Use safely and obey all traffic/parking laws. Do not use the app while driving.

Permissions (why we ask)
• Location (required): to verify you’re inside the pilot area, match leavers and hunters, and support ETA/proximity during an active handoff.
• Notifications (required): to deliver time-sensitive events like winner assignment, cancellations, and proximity/timing alerts.

Privacy & data
We collect account data (email/user ID if you create an account), precise location during active pilot use, a push token for notifications, and basic diagnostics to improve reliability. We do not sell personal data.
