Ratings and reviews

Hell bent to push as many adverts as possible, at the cost of the viewers experience. I do understand you need the ad revenue, but should there be a limit? When I open the app loads full screen advert that is annoying, All videos start with uninteresting long ads, ads in between the news article very disruptive, almost all the ads are useless or uninteresting, etc etc. Overall, bad experience and sort of puts me off from checking this app for news, starting to use other means for the news.

This app sucks. Frequent outright crashes through versions over the years; one of the jankiest video players ever, with slow buffering and an inability to maintain correct aspect ratio, it fails to keep the device awake atm., seeking with the bar is a nightmare, too many problems to enumerate. This is unfortunate, because, as bad as this app is, NDTV is amongst the better news houses.

This version of the app is noticeably slower. Takes significantly longer to load each news item. Cant say whether its the app or the content that is causing this behaviour as under low bandwidth conditions the page often doesnt load at all. Never faced this sort of issue woth previous versions of the app. Downgrading the rating from 2 to 1 start on 29th Jun '23 as the app crashes frequently!!
