About this app

Know your property. Map what matters.

Mapstead is a property mapping and maintenance app for homeowners, rural property owners, landlords, and anyone who wants a clearer record of how a property works.

Create a property using GPS, address search, or a location selected directly on the map. Then document the important places, systems, routes, and areas that are easy to forget but difficult to replace.

With Mapstead, you can:

• Create and organize multiple properties
• Mark important locations such as wells, valves, electrical panels, utility meters, gates, septic access points, and safety equipment
• Draw fences, driveways, water lines, electrical lines, drainage routes, irrigation lines, and property edges
• Outline buildings, ponds, gardens, pools, septic fields, driveways, and property boundaries
• Add names, notes, photos, and documents to the right property or mapped item
• Keep records for property systems and equipment
• Record maintenance history and recurring reminders
• Search mapped items and organize them with map layers
• Preserve useful information for future maintenance, emergencies, contractors, family members, or property handoff

Mapstead uses a beginner-first workflow. You choose what you want to add in plain language, and Mapstead guides you through placing it as a location, route, or area.

Your core property information is stored locally on your Android device. Mapstead does not require an account to begin organizing your property records.

Mapstead is designed for practical property documentation. It is not a land survey, parcel-boundary service, underground utility locator, or substitute for professional surveying or utility marking. Always verify critical locations before digging, construction, permitting, or legal use.
