About this app

Camera is a straightforward, privacy-friendly camera app for taking photos and recording videos on your Android device.

Choose the settings that suit each shot:

• Take photos or record videos with the front or rear camera
• Tap the preview to focus, long-press to take a photo, and pinch to zoom
• Use automatic flash, forced flash or the continuous flashlight
• Choose a 1:1, 3:2, 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratio
• Select high, medium or low resolution and see the final image size
• Adjust JPEG quality from 10% to 100%
• Camera uses direct stream from imager chip for best quality
• Save media in DCIM/Camera or a folder of your choice
• Optionally add GPS coordinates to photos and videos
• Turn the shutter sound on or off
• Open your phone’s standard Photos app directly from the camera
• Use the app in English, Finnish or your system language

Photos and videos are stored on your device. The app has no advertising or analytics and does not upload your media to the developer.
