Angle Calculator gives saw settings for compound miters. Enter a corner and a spring (slope) angle to get miter gauge and blade tilt for crown molding, picture frames, boxes, and other angled joinery.

How to use
• Choose a regular object with 3, 4, 5 or 6 corners, or Free for any wall angle.
• The object diagram shows the included corner. Switch on outside corner when you are wrapping around a box instead of an inside joint. The cut diagram flips for the outside cut.
• Set spring angle from vertical (0°–90°). Quick buttons: 0°, 38° (52/38 crown), 45° (45/45 crown), and 90° (flat stock). A side-view drawing follows the angle you enter.
• Saw settings update as you change values. You get miter angle, blade tilt, and alternative angles if your saw reads from the fence or from the table.
• A cut diagram shows the workpiece on the saw. Choose display precision 0.1°, 0.5° or 1°.
