The app is definitely good in general and when it comes to banking features. However I'm increasingly annoyed by the amount of 'ads' shown for Kate coins or other KBC products: on the login screen, on the home screen notifications section, etc. Especially since I am paying for this account. I purposely disabled the 'extra convenience' setting so every trace of Kate coins would be removed, but the login page is not included in that filter, I suppose. Would love to see that changed.

I hit a bug when I accidentally requested a prepaid card and found no way to cancel it. A support person cancelled it, but I still got notifications, so the cleanup was incomplete. They told me to reinstall, except... Once I did that, I discovered the app wants my location and access to my device's apps, "for my safety". I was home for the holidays, so obviously my location wouldn't be in Belgium. I was left abroad without a working app. No indication that the actual bug will ever be fixed.

Hello Andrew! Thanks for letting us know. We understand that this was very annoying. As for the technical part of the card, unfortunately I do not have enough data. The location check you blocked on is not a bug, but rather a protection. If the location is far different from the one registered with us, then that is the time for us to be vigilant.

Never had any problems, other than the app false flagging my phone as being rooted. Temporarily giving it one star for exposure, app keeps crashing since last update. Edit: 3 months on and still no update. Keeps crashing at "Identity Control", regardless the manner of input of information. This is a bank app. With branches disappearing left and right, the more we rely on these apps. The least you can do is read the crash logs. Seems like version 25.8.0 works on my device (S24U), but not unsigned
