Legit, more frustrating than anything. If you need the remote to do anything like suddenly mute the volume, don't use this app. You'll have to "reconnect" or wait for an ad to finish, especially if you don't want to pay $20 for this to work. I've spent more time frustrated and annoyed than getting anything done when I've tried this. I broke down in less than a week and just bought a new remote FOR LESS THAN THE APP and more reliable

It works, but the ads are insufferable, and they expect you to pay over $30 a year to remove them when a new remote is only like $10, even an official Amazon remote is still less than the yearly price. I'm obviously only using this while I wait for a new remote to arrive.

excellent! I cannot tell you how happy I am that I found this. My firestick remote wasn't working so I couldn't use my firestick at all. I found a couple of apps but one wanted a subscription charge and the other couldn't even find my firestick to connect to it. I had almost given up when I spotted this and thought I'd give it one more shot. I'm so glad I did. almost immediately it found the firestick and connected to it. it's only been a day but it's been working perfectly so far.
