I tried calibrating like it said and then tried to find the studs. No luck. I tried just seeing my phone on my cushion for the ottoman and the numbers just kept bouncing around. It never stayed still. I am no carpenter but I am far from helpless. I've installed floors, built chicken pens, and consider myself fairly handy but this app is impossible to comprehend. The numbers always stay between 48 and 56. They never stabilize and read differently everytime I run my phone over the same area.

Abysmal, a waste of time, defective, definitely not recommended. You may spend hours scanning a very wide area of your wall, and this app will find absolutely nothing. It is a disappointing waste of time! You would be literally downloading an app that has absolutely no functionality to locate studs, which is totally misleading by the developers who state that it does locate studs.

Was hopeful, but app is too unreliable. First try, like 90% of the wall was a stud, 2nd try, apparently we have not studs. Used the Ole knock method to find the actual stud, then scan up and down the stud and found what was probably a screw or two, but only found one or two screws per stud when there should be many. Can't use this to reliably do anything. Can find studs better just by knocking, than trying to get app yo provide good results.
