About this app

Most recovery apps count the days since your last relapse. Battlr goes deeper.

Porn addiction is not a willpower problem. It is a pattern — a loop that starts with an emotional trigger, builds into an urge, and ends in the same place every time. Until you understand the loop, you cannot break it.

Battlr is built on three things that science says actually work: knowing what triggers you, surviving the urge at its peak, and building a new identity through daily replacement habits. Every tool serves one of these three purposes — nothing else.

KNOW YOUR TRIGGERS

You cannot interrupt a trigger you cannot see.

Most relapses follow a predictable emotional sequence: stress, boredom, guilt, or anxiety rises — and the addiction fires as a coping mechanism. Battlr helps you surface that pattern.

• Emotion Logger — Log five emotional dimensions once per day. Over days and weeks, a swipeable chart reveals which emotional states consistently precede a craving. Patterns you could never see in the moment become obvious at a glance.

• Journal — Private, categorised writing. The Craving Log category is specifically for capturing the emotional and situational details from just before an urge hit. Your entries become a personal map of your own addiction pattern — more accurate than any generic advice.

OUTLAST THE URGE

A craving is not permanent. It rises, peaks, and passes — in under 20 minutes, every time. You do not need to defeat an urge. You need to survive the peak.

The Shield tab is reachable in one tap, always. When the moment hits, open it and use one of four tools:

• Box Breathing - Physiologically lowers cortisol and interrupts the stress-driven craving loop. By the time you finish, the sharpest edge of the urge has passed.

• Log Emotion - Check in with your emotional state in real time, not in retrospect. Identifying the trigger at the moment of the urge is the fastest path to self-knowledge.

BUILD A NEW IDENTITY

Abstinence alone does not rewire the brain. Addiction occupies neural pathways built through repetition. Those pathways are displaced by other behaviours — not by avoiding the old one.

• Habit Builder — Six daily replacement activities: walking, reading, workout, meditation, prayer, and a custom option. Each habit builds its own streak. Complete all six and unlock the daily celebration. These are not arbitrary tasks — they are chosen specifically to reduce cortisol, occupy time, and build the self-image of someone who shows up for themselves every day.

• Streak Counter — A live clean-day clock (days, hours, minutes, seconds) with your current streak, your best streak, a weekly ring filling to 7, and a monthly ring filling to 30. Milestones are rewarded. Momentum becomes visible — and the cost of breaking it becomes real.

BUILT FOR THE FIRST 90 DAYS AND BEYOND

Onboarding is designed to matter. The first screen anchors you at a genuine fresh start — not just another attempt. The second teaches the principles behind lasting recovery. The third asks you to consciously commit to your Personal Pledge — a pre-commitment made before temptation arrives that dramatically increases your resistance when it does.

From there, the app is designed to make opening it tomorrow feel natural: streaks create momentum, daily habits create ritual, and the emotion log builds self-knowledge that compounds over time.

WHO THIS IS FOR

Battlr is for anyone who has tried willpower, tried blocking apps, tried cold showers — and still ended up in the same place. If you have relapsed and want to understand why, this is the tool for it.

This is not a content blocker. It is a recovery system built on root-cause understanding.

Download Battlr and start building the version of yourself that the old pattern cannot survive in.
