Great. Works, no adds, flexible One complaint/suggestion/request: while I love the tempo slider, I would like the ability to manually enter a tempo if I need precision, would save time, or better yet, fine adjustment buttons that shift tempo up or down 1 BPM each time you hit it, perhaps even a .5, 1, and 5 button set. Edit: Wait. I'm an idiot, already implemented, just in a weird spot
Best free metronome! This metronome is great! It not only allows you to customize the time signature but also the subdivisions, which also includes odd subdivisions, not just eight, triplet, and sixteenth. It also lets you omit beats as well as allows you to add accents to beats. There is also an accelerando and ritardando function. The only thing missing is programmability. Great app all around!
This is perfect companion for the Guitar Aerobics book. The possibilty to set subbeats has proven useful. There's one UI problem, though. In the Accelerando slider the value display ("0.5BPM/bar") is always under the thumb when adjusting the value. So you have to "blindly" adjust the slider and then lift your thumb to see the value. It would be nice to run the app in the background. I would like to read tabs on another app and use the metronome at the same time, but this isn't currently supported.
Works great. Simple enough for my beginner students and their parents (non musicians) to understand. Wish it was louder, but that's my phone's limitations, not the app. Will recommend to my students, especially those who can't afford an actual pendulum metronome. Love, also, that it is an app, on my phone, so it's always with me if I need to use it or show it to someone.
Android Nexus 5 User Don't know if it did this a couple of months ago when I used your app then. Today I set the metronome speed for eg 130 bps and as it is beating the speed is gradually dropping 1 beat at a time. Within a couple seconds the speed is now about 126 bps! How do I maintain the speed? Useless otherwise. Will give a 5* rating when fixed. Thanks.
Intuitive yet allows for complicated rhythms This is a great app and very intuitive. I've been experimenting with complex meters, and I am able to set them up to practice with them with relative ease using this application. I would like to see a premium version which allows you to set up entire tracks so that you can deal with meter changes mid-song. Maybe you could even add some other voices so that a person could do some simple drum tracks for demos. In any case, great work! This is seriously one of the best apps of any kind I have come across.
minor bug fix and tweaked relative volumes of sounds
