Absolutely pointless, as a lot of other comments mention, after subscribing to premium 2 notifications came through and since then I've had nothing! If I go on to the app then occasionally I'll see a slot available but by the time you click on it and fill out all the details on the DVSA site, then the slot has gone. Probably long gone I imagine as I think the app is really slow in taking down slots that have gone. If you're not getting notifications then it really is the most pointless app!

Used Testshift and Testi, and unfortunately Testi fell short. It logged me out and took 2 days to log back in, and someone else already said this, but I didn’t enjoy jumping from app to website, only for the slot to be gone. Much less, there were instances where I get a date, go on the app, and it's already gone. Personally, I didn’t like it, and wouldn't recommend it. I don't know if it makes a difference, but I have an android.

Not helpful at all. Waste of money. Not worth getting a premium. It's been 2 months and no result even if you put it to auto rebooking. Also I noticed that even if there is cancellation or date available when you see in DVLA online, their app can't quickly book it for you. It's not quick and maybe simply not working at all.
