KidGuard helps families organise safer everyday child monitoring with a privacy-first, local-first design.
Create safe zones for places such as home or school, review the child’s latest location and movement context, and receive clear in-app warnings when a safety condition needs attention. GPS freshness checks help reduce false alarms caused by delayed or out-of-order readings. Parent controls are protected by a PIN, and device pairing uses generated codes rather than exposed default credentials.
KidGuard also includes incident visibility, check-in handling, emergency siren controls, offline-aware status information, local privacy controls, and export/delete tools for data stored on the device. SMS assistance currently opens the device’s message composer for the parent to review and send manually. The current release does not claim automatic SMS delivery.
