When should I install my eSIM?

To ensure a smooth setup process, we recommend installing your eSIM just before your departure, as installation requires a stable Internet connection. However, if you prefer, you can wait until you arrive in the country to activate your eSIM using WIFI. Once your eSIM is installed, you have the option to turn it off. Activation of the package only occurs when you use your eSIM in the country/region where it is eligible for connection. When you land, simply turn on your eSIM, set roaming to “on” and enjoy being connected.

(edit: initial review 1/5stars) I can't say for certain the reason behind the connectivity issue on day 2 out of a 3 day data plan, but the 3rd day worked fine. I followed the troubleshooting steps on day 2 but the internet was just not fast enough even after confirming that the 2nd day had not used little to no data. I would like to add that my regular mobile provider has a similar issue as well in my current location, so maybe I was quick to jump the gun on my initial review.

not a great company... killing off their SIM product to switch to esim and left all my pre purchased plans with no transferable credits. Don't use them. There are better options out there that actually want you as a customer. Be warned! UPDATED May 23. Thanks for the very late reply and sudden wish to make things right. If you had really cared, it would not have to get to a bad review to act on it. I went through 3 agents. A credit is a credit... understand that. No thanks.

The data package was so slow that it could barely load anything. Avoid.
