About this app

Kommunitea shows you what's happening around you, and makes running your own events a lot less work than a spreadsheet and four group chats.

Some weeks you're looking for something to do. Other weeks you're the one organising it. Same app either way.

FIND SOMETHING TO DO
• Events near you this week, filtered by interest, community or campus
• See which of your friends are going
• Save anything that looks good and get a nudge before it starts
• Free or ticketed, in person or online

TURN UP WITHOUT THE FAFF
• RSVP in a couple of taps
• Ticketed? Your QR code lives in the app, or in Apple Wallet
• Event full? Join the waitlist and we'll tell you if a place opens up
• Someone sent you a link? Open it and RSVP without making an account

HOST WITHOUT THE ADMIN
• Put an event up in about a minute. No club required, no setup
• RSVPs, capacity and the waitlist handle themselves
• Scan people in at the door
• Ask what you actually need to know on the RSVP form
• Share the work with co-hosts, keep tasks and notes in one place
• Weekly or monthly? Set it once and the whole run appears
• Trips get a meeting point and a headcount before you set off

What’s new

Split what an evening cost, and settle up whenever. Turn any event into a poster for Instagram or a noticeboard. Share events and communities as QR codes. Discover is six sections now, not one long list, and a short set of cards explains the app after you sign up. The event page is rebuilt around whoever is looking at it. Polls for a community and for an event are separate. Chat shows who reacted with what. Plus notifications you cleared stay cleared, and invite links work properly.
