── A GUIDED START, EVERY TIME ──
A four-step warm-up guide appears at the beginning of each session so you prepare your body before picking up the pace. A six-minute walking baseline assessment helps you choose the right plan for your current fitness level — no guessing.

── LIVE GPS PACE GUIDANCE ──
When you walk outdoors, the app tracks your route using GPS with a six-stage location filter and step-count fallback for weak signal areas. You see your current pace, phase cadence, and a route drawn in real time — without needing a separate map app. Voice, sound, and haptic cues tell you exactly when to speed up and when to slow down, even with the screen off.

── AUDIO AND HAPTIC CUES ──
Six built-in cue sound sets, adjustable volume, vibration patterns, and optional text-to-speech let you personalise how the app talks to you. All cues work through the foreground notification so you never miss a phase change while your phone is in your pocket.

── WEATHER AWARENESS ──
A live weather card on the home screen shows current conditions at your location so you can decide whether to walk indoors or outdoors before you start. Voice weather alerts can be enabled for real-time caution during your session.

── COMPLETE SUMMARY AND HISTORY ──
After each session you see a clear breakdown: fast and slow phase totals, distance, step count, pace contrast, and calorie estimate. All sessions are saved locally and displayed in a 30-session progress chart and a monthly activity calendar. Export or import your history as JSON for safekeeping — no account required.

Opt-in Health Connect integration writes your completed exercise sessions to the Android health platform so your walking data appears alongside other fitness apps you use.

A home-screen widget and app shortcuts let you start a walk or open the timer in one tap — before the app is even fully open.

── DAILY REMINDERS ──
Set an approximate daily reminder to keep your walking habit consistent. No exact-alarm permission required.

── PRIVACY FIRST ──
All session data is stored on your device. No account, no cloud sync, no data sold to third parties. Location is used only for pace and route tracking during active sessions. A one-time consent screen (powered by Google UMP) gives you full control over personalised ads.

── REMOVE ADS ──
A single one-time purchase removes banner ads from every screen and unlocks unlimited custom workout presets. The entitlement works offline and is restored automatically after reinstall.

What’s new

Fix workout-start crash on Android 14+ ("keeps stopping").

Cause: with location denied, startForeground() used FGS type NONE (0),
prohibited on Android 14+ -> crash.

Fix: use "location|specialUse" (+ FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE perm);
type = LOCATION if permitted, else SPECIAL_USE on API 34+, else 0.

Verified on Android 16, with and without location. Before release:
bump versionCode + declare Special Use in Play Console.
