I keep getting an error "could not read credentials" with biometrics and the file's password. Then I boot up the file on my pc, and it works perfectly. This is the second password file I made, and it ends up having the same error. Two stars because when it works, it works well. That is until the inevitable. Beware that this bug is ongoing.

Are you sure you've transferred the file correctly between your devices (some cloud applications are buggy). Try a manual transfer.

More intuitive and easy to use than other Android KeePass ports, and open source always helps with trusting programmers to not grab your data behind the scenes (assuming the checkers themselves are trustworthy). I didn't know that Android's Clipboard retains multiple entries for so long, and this gave a helpful warning. So far - having not tested advanced features - this app is a "KeePer."

I went from using LastPass in 2018, to Dashlane until around 2022, until finally hunkering down and deciding to give the KeePass ecosystem a try. Very pleased, I personally don't utilize any 3rd party cloud and keep everything local. Just my devices and some backups on USB that I store. I don't use any form recognition so that's not important. I rather annually donate to an open source project rather than be charged annually to keep passwords safe. I use KeePassXC on desktops.
