Horrible, I've lived in 2 apartments that have moved to the Latch app and I absolutely hate it. The "Hold near to unlock" feature never works, and even if it did a regular fob would be much easier anyway. I'm using the Android version and there does not seem to be an update option in the app and the version is not listed on Google Play so I'm not even sure if I'm on the most current version.

It works, but it doesn't work well. my phone died, and i got caught in the rain outside my apartment building. i had to wait 1.5 hours for my roommate to come back in order to get inside. having a phone needing bluetooth, NFC, and wifi instead of a regular key and lock is a faulty system with plenty of things that can and will go wrong. it logs me out and sometimes flat out refuses to open a door. i dont have access to the gym or the stairwell and nobody can fix it. avoid this system if you can.

Does not work at all as advertised. Community passcode does not work, except my personal apartment code so I know it's not a problem on my end. I have to search through a long list of doors to open and I still haven't found the entry for a couple of doors in my large building that would be convenient for me to use. Terrible idea. Unnecessary tech that's actually worse than buzzers and intercoms. A solution in need of a problem. If I could give it zero stars I would.
