Worked perfectly fine for me. Great light settings with am/daytime/pm. Love it so far. With the new app update it is not very clear about what you need to do besides plugging in device and connecting to it on the first main screen. Would not work for me. I uninstalled app and tried again several times to no avail. Figured out you have to log in with your account which is on a separate screen screen and than it works again. Not sure if this is an issue for people who have already used the app or first time users as well. Downgrading from 5 stars to 3 till properly fixed.
The old app worked great for my bulbs. The update as of the 16 is horrible and I can no longer connect to any of my bulbs. Spent to much money on bulbs to have an application no longer work properly. Update.... to previous post.... Completely uninstall the app, reinstall it and then log in. It worked great and now I am a happy user again. I also had to turn the bulbs off before it would recognize the app. Stability seams to be fine. I love the bulbs and i am a happy customer.
The June 2017 version of the app seems to be horribly broken, and can't find any bulbs with my Nexus 5. I manually installed the March 2017 version and I was finally able to find and set up my bulbs. Please release a fix soon! Update 9/28/2017: I deleted my places, logged out, cleared app data, logged back in, and manually reset the bulbs. After that, the app was finally able to add the bulbs and run a firmware update. Hopefully things keep working from here.
Loved it until the update on the 16. Now it's useless, constantly giving me Network error (-1) despite all the troubleshooting. Tried clearing app data, uninstalling and reinstalling, unplugging for several seconds, even changing password. Beyond frustrating. Undo the update, GE. This is insane.
Very disappointed that the app has updated and now can't find my bulb. Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling, creating an account and logging in, turning the bulb on and off, trying on an android device and on an apple device (the app originally worked on the apple device). Unfortunately none of it worked and the bulb is still not connecting.
UPDATE: After registering an account and updating my bulbs, everything works flawlessly. Great product, as long as the software is working. OLD REVIEW: The app itself has worked reasonably well with a few minor bugs when switching between scenes (often it will not correctly turn off some bulbs). However, it will not let me update my bulbs so that I can use the scheduling feature, which is the main reason I bought these bulbs! All of the update buttons are blanked out. I'd want to give a 5-star review if I could use this feature.
