worked when I first got it and I was excited to use it. But sadly its junk. I always just get error messages that it cant establish an encrypted channel. And then you just get the spinning wheel of death (which means please continue to wait while the app does nothing to resolve the issue. I reached out multiple times to customer service but they are useless. They just tell you to restart your device, re-download the app, and clear your cache. They won't tech support to fix the constant issues.

I thought I was the only one... I've been attempting to get the cameras to work for over a year, working with their tech support. Scheduling the lights don't function and they go offline constantly. I was told that the signal strength has to be over 80% and to get an extender. I did. Now the signal comes and goes but even when it's at 90%+, they still constantly go offline. It seems you can restart the device and they come back up. Until the next time you want to use them. Absolute junk!!!

LaView security cameras are too sensitive to light variation and keep showing motion dection. In some rooms, it's just impossible to avoid this, so they are constantly going off. Partly sunny days, your lap turning on and off. Another thing if you have multcameras is no way of turning all on or off at the same time. I have to cycle through 6 individual cameras to get them all on when leaving and when returning home. They need a home and a away key to activate all. otherwise cameras are OK.
