Lawn Starter contractors abuse the system. I have had them mark a service as completed they didn't even do. They can change providers without notice. A specific contractor will reschedule and push back a job repeatedly and eventually just drop it. The app functions well, but the service itself doesn't have good oversight. I highly encourage anyone to just go local. This service is not worth it at all. You might get lucky. I had a couple jobs go well, but overall it's been a major rip-off.

When I first saw an ad for this service I thought I can't beat the price. I was paying 3x a much for getting my lawn cut. I've been with them for about a year. My rate never changes. I love the crew I have now. They always notify me before they come out. If I need to skip a service it's very easy. If you need additional work done you just go in the app and schedule it. Love this service! 💕

App is challenging to use. Features like messaging the crew are not where I would expect them to be. But I learned - so that worked out. Service is sketchy. Mowing *occurs*, and is typically of acceptable or better quality, but they are incapable of keeping a schedule or consistent crew. Cancelations come - unannounced, half the time - at the last second or after the window expires. Hoping this is a product of circumstance or the current environment. If issues resolve, I will update here.
