Only connects when away from home about 1/4 of the time... Why? Attempted factory reset as requested now I can't get the second camera to connect to the parent unit at all or show online. The other camera won't connect outside the parent unit at all... For reference a simple power cycle typically can reconnect network connection, but not this time. Killed more than 2/3rds of my system. Thanks...

The app consistently loses the ability to record motion. I have reset this unit so many times and it still won't record motion no matter how many times we adjust the settings. Leapfrog assistance is useless in helping this issue and just says to keep resetting the monitor. As you can see from Leapfrogs response below, rather than fix the software they just want you to reset the unit until you get so frustrated you throw it out.

Why can't this app run in the background? or as Pop-up window, or in split screen, or even with the screen off??? Basically this app requires you to stare at it all the time. God forbid you get a text message or need to do a web search for something, the app disconnects from the camera and has to reconnect to it when you swithch back to the app. And the connection is far from immediate. One has to wonder who would design a baby monitor app to be foreground only!
