Ratings and reviews

The picture in picture mode does not stop my phone from going to sleep/timing out. If I have the app open, you have to select the "full screen" button as well, otherwise your phone will go to sleep/time out. It takes a very long time to reconnect after and sometimes to have to close the app completely and reopen it. These were not issues with the VTech baby pro app so I am disappointed this newer app seems to be functioning worse than the "old" version.

Easy to set up with our camera and phones, Galaxy s22 and Pixel 6. The huge negatives are the extreme battery drain and how hot either phone gets while running the app for extended periods of time. Was hoping this would mostly replace the monitor unit, but still primarily using that instead of this app until/if this app improves. Update: power draw has not been fixed and notification banner ads have been added without a way to disable them. Would not recommend this camera and app at this point.

I like having the app for the option to view my kids while away from home or throughout my house/yard without bringing the monitor everywhere. I also like being able to view recorded movements, but the app is very glitchy and slow. sometimes it takes hours to load previous recordings and sometimes it won't load them at all once u click on it. lately all my recorded movement videos only load as a white screen.. I wish there were more options to adjust how long the recordings are too.
