I just started, and it's already so warm and welcoming, I had tried Duolangio or however you spell it and I lost interest because it wouldn't pick up with my pace and felt too confusing for me. Perfect for someone who loves anime songs and anime itself, would definitely recommend already to anyone who wants a chill vibe and a friend to talk to. Yes it does use AI for responses, but that's what gives you the friend part unlike Duo who.. well has automatic questions and so on. I'll update later!

I'm going to preface this with the fact that I am a very casual learner. I really like the app! I like that you're able to retake the voice recordings as much as needed, and the tips are really helpful! Also I do quite like the fact you get 15 free hearts per day, unlike other apps that give you a bit then force you to pay. It's also just really fun cuz you get to talk about things like anime with her. ads aren't bad either imo. overall it's worth a try :)

I also do not get the hate I'm even considering getting a subscription soon this is such a good app and has helped me learn it quite a lot! most of the people complaining that the girl sounds like an adult clearly don't understand what art style is. she is simply in a more chibi art style! the creator of the app even replies fast to your direct messages with him! (I am crying laughing right now, somebody said that you stole a vtubers model even though this is a completely different model)
