Since 2024, the Brain Institute has been mobilizing the general public to help advance research into brain diseases through Les Foulées du Cortex. This connected event brings together everyone who wants to contribute to brain research through physical and sporting activity. Running, walking, trekking, hiking… it doesn’t matter how you do it: every kilometre counts.
The principle is simple: 1 kilometre covered = €1 donated to brain research. Whether you are a seasoned athlete, a casual weekend walker, or simply enjoy going for a stroll, everyone can take part!
You too can turn your kilometres into a donation and receive a tax receipt.
Whether alone, with family, friends, or colleagues, and whether you are a company or an individual, the Brain Institute invites you to join us from 16 to 27 September 2026 to help give researchers the resources they need to take on one of the greatest challenges of our century: better understanding how the brain works and, one day, finding ways to stop the diseases that affect it.
Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, stroke, brain tumours, epilepsy, depression, autism, ADHD…
Together, you can help drive forward the research being carried out at the Brain Institute!
A huge thank you.
